Siirtec Nigi is proud to announce that it has recently signed a Service Agreement with Chennai Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (CPCL) for the Engineering Supervision at Licensor level related to 2 Sulphur Recovery Units (100 t/d each) designed and licensed with its own technology to CPCL at Manali Refinery, Chennai, India, under the BS-VI Auto Fuel Project. The aim of the agreement is to cooperate closely with CPCL to grant smooth preparation, commissioning and start up of the new units according to high quality standards. The new Sulphur Recovery Units comprise Siirtec Nigi's proprietary technologies for modified-claus sulphur recovery, claus tail gas treating (High Claus Ratio, HCR) and sulphur degassing, as well as proprietary design for the fabricated and procured Acid Gas Burners.
