Siirtec Nigi has been awarded the EPCC contract for the Shale Oil Condensation Unit as part of Enefit 280-2 Shale Oil Project to be deployed for Enefit Power AS in Auvere, Estonia. The overall project value is around € 150 million. The scope of work includes the engineering and supply of process, auxiliary, equipment, systems, steel structure and the I&C system required for condensing heavy fuel oil from the volatile gas mixture exiting the retorting section of the plant. In the condensation unit the volatile gas mixture is de-dusted in a scrubber, cooled and sent to a refluxed condensing tower where the heavy oil is condensed and extracted from the bottom of the tower.
